Presbyterian Women

Welcome Presbyterian Women

We have four active circles at FPC.  Two circles meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m.  A third, evening circle meets the third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., and the forth circle meets on the second Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the church parlor.  All women are welcome .

We begin our monthly meetings in September with a study of the Beatitudes.beatitudes

In addition to our circles, Rev. Dr. Thom Nelson will also lead a study on each lesson on the forth Wednesday at 2:15 pm. Anyone is welcome to join us in the Library. 

We gather together for three special programs which are open to all women and friends:  

April:           Our Birthday Offering Dinner and Auction   

August:       The Back to School Kickoff dinner

December:  The Thank Offering Dinner and Auction

Our mission support comes from a regular monthly offering and the proceeds from our two auctions. 

The money raised helps to support:

  Child and Family Crisis Center  Bachman Academy
  Heifer Project Least Coin , Thank, and Birthday Offerings
  Newton Child Development Center  Mission Haven
  Sunset Gap  Morgan-Scott Project

Presbyterian Women also coordinates meals for members of the congregation who are ill or experiencing family loss.
