Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you

may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday Morning Bible Study with Ned Clapp

Meets in Room A at 9:45 am

Come join us as we explore God's word. The Present Word is our study book and it provides the scripture verses we discuss each Sunday.  The lessons in the study book are based on International Sunday School Lessons.  Each quarter a new author provides the information found in the study book.  Some questions we try to answer in this class are: What do you believe the scripture is saying to us and is it still relevant today as it was when it was written? This class provides members a way to express their interpretation of the scripture being studied.

Monday Connection Sunday School

Meets in the Parlor at 9:45 am

The name of this class is derived from the idea that we endeavor to strengthen our faith during our Sunday morning class in order to connect it to the remainder of the week.  The class explores a wide range of topics which are biblically based, incorporating a variety of books, DVDs, and tapes which are selected by the class.  The format of this class is facilitated discussion, and members who wish, volunteer to lead the class for one or two consecutive Sundays. This interesting format allows for diverse teaching styles and introspection to the lesson.  Class members bring a variety of experience from their own faith journey.

Most recently the class completed the DVD series Living the Questions. This curriculum included conversations with leading voices of faith, sermon and lecture clips, digital stories illustrating aspects of an evolving faith, and concrete spiritual practices.

Come and join us. Everyone is welcome.

Topics Class

Meets in Room B at 9:45 am

We welcome Todd Thurman as the new leader for the Topics class.  The curriculum will come in part from the Thoughtful Christian, a wed-based resource center designed to stimulate our thoughts about Christian values and how they relate to today's world. The studies encourage class members to share their thoughts and beliefs while wrestling with questions that inform the way we live out our faith in everyday life.

The Breakfast Club

Meets in Fellowship Hall at 9:45 am

Welcome to the Breakfast Club! We meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 in Fellowship Hall for a light breakfast and study. Rev. Colleen EM Maillie and Jeff Paris lead this interactive discussion.  All are welcome.  Come check it out!
