Dr. Angela Batey
Dr. Batey is our Director of Music, having joined our staff in 1998. She is also the Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Tennessee, as well as Director of Choral Activities and Director of Graduate Studies in the School of Music.

Sandra Porter Bohlken
Sandra joined our staff in March 2023 and is an experienced leader in church Music Ministry with several decades of work in contemporary worship planning and execution. She has been involved in church programs her entire life and served in many capacities of music leadership, as a children’s minister, video production assistant, and communications director. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Boise State University, with additional study in communications and vocal performance at the University of Tennessee and at Shenandoah University.

Lori Corbett
Lori joined our staff as bookkeeper in 2015. She previously worked in the financial services industry in a variety of positions, including performing financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and accounting. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in Finance from Western Kentucky University (Go Big Red!)

Tami Newsom
Tami is our Associate Director of Music/Organist and has been a member of our staff since January of 2000. She has been an organist/director of music in many denominations for over 40 years. Tami is pursuing her dream of degrees in Sacred Music, Religious Studies and Judaic Studies at the University of Tennessee.

Mason Warren
Mason is the Director of Family Ministry. A lifelong Presbyterian, Mason joined our staff in 2019 after graduating from Maryville College. Having grown up in the PCUSA, he has a passion for all things Presbyterian and has served in a variety of different roles at the local, presbytery, and denominational level. On Sundays, Mason can often be found running the KidZone during the 9:00 am service, in the AV booth during the 11:00 am service, and leading youth group in the evenings.

Dawn Zilles
Dawn is our Office Administrator. She is a “retired” northerner who lived in Ohio and Michigan most of her life, but was born in Maryville, TN. Dawn attended Miami University of Ohio and Bowling Green State University before raising 3 children with her husband, Steve. She joined our staff in 2013 after 14 years of office management in the dental field. Dawn’s vivacious personality greets those who visit our church during the week.
