The area Presbyterian Churches in partnership with Edward Jones will be constructing a Habitat for Humanity home in Knoxville beginning on March 20, 2021. The cost of this project is $55000 and Edward Jones has committed to pay $25,000 leaving $30,000 to be raised by the area Presbyterian Churches. Farragut Presbyterian Church has pledged $2000 from the Outreach budget for this project. Per the Presbytery E-Newsletter, only $11,000 of the $30,000 needed has been pledged so far.
Habitat of Knoxville is in need of volunteers from the area churches to help in the construction of this home along with volunteers from Edward Jones. Work will be done on Saturdays this spring. Volunteers can work whatever number of days or time their schedule allows. If you, would like to contribute as a volunteer or donor, please contact Frank Dorman (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information on how to assist.
