Thursday Night Bible Study

Narnia study: This fall, the Thursday evening Bible study will undertake a quest through the Chronicles of Narnia, accompanied by readings from Mere Christianity and – of course – the Bible. This program (written decades ago by Sparky Dyson of Kingsport, TN) has elements of book club, theology course, Bible study, and supper club, but mostly it’s a time of growth, both in faith and in friendship.
Since spring of 2020 the group has been meeting on Zoom, but if there’s enough interest, we can add an in-person option at another time of the week. If you’re interested in meeting Aslan and going “further up and further in” feel free to contact Elizabeth Wilson or the church office.
There will also be an information session sometime in August before we begin on September 18 (for the Thursday evening group).
As of now we will meet from 7-8 pm on Zoom and welcome new participants.
If you would like to join us, please contact Elizabeth Wilson or the church office.
