Dr. Angela Batey
Dr. Angela Batey is Director of Music, having joined our staff in 1998. Dr. Batey is Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Tennessee as well as Director of Choral Activities and Director of Graduate Studies in the School of Music.
Lori Corbett joined our staff as bookkeeper in 2015. Lori previously worked in the financial services industry in a variety of positions, including performing financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in Finance from Western Kentucky University (Go Big Red!).
Beth Hallman is Director of our Children’s Enrichment Program (CEP). Beth has been with our program for over 20 years. Prior to becoming Director she served in the infant room as well as Acting Director. Beth is a registered nurse. As Director, Beth supervises our amazing teachers.
Tami Newsom is Associate Director of Music/Organist, joining our staff in January of 2000. Tami has been an organist/director of music in many denominations for over 40 years. She is pursuing her dream of degrees in Sacred Music, Religious Studies and Judaic Studies at the University of Tennessee.
Mason Warren is the Director of Family Ministry. Mason is a lifelong Presbyterian from Dublin, Georgia, and a recent graduate of Maryville College. Having grown up in the PCUSA, he has a passion for all things Presbyterian! Mason attended the Montreat Youth Conference, as a participant and as stage leadership, ever since he was 14 years old and hasn’t missed a year since! He also participated in the Presbyterian Youth Triennium as a member of the production team and as a participant. Mason also attended General Assembly in 2016 as an observer.
Dawn Zilles is our Office Administrator. She is a “retired” northerner who lived in Ohio and Michigan most of her life, but was born in Maryville, TN. Dawn joined our staff in 2013 after 14 years of office management in the dental field. Dawn’s vivacious personality greets those who visit our church during the week.
